In brief. The nominee is the Hong Kong entity or the regional business run from it — its markets, revenue, teams and results — not the group. The company enters the Asia Best of Best Awards (or a sector programme) at Asia level with a Platinum package; the regional head enters the World CEO Awards as a leader with profit-and-loss responsibility. Present growth by market, programmes delivered from Hong Kong, teams built and decisions taken here; leave the parent's global results as one sentence of context. Index confidential regional figures.

The nominee

The programmes recognise organisations and leaders operating in a country or region. For a multinational, that is the Hong Kong entity or the Greater China or Asia-Pacific business, and the regional head with profit-and-loss responsibility. The eligibility page lists regional heads among those eligible for the World CEO Awards. A nomination written about a London or New York headquarters will not contain Hong Kong evidence and will not read well.

The programmes

The company: the Asia Best of Best Awards in its industry, usually with a Platinum package so that it is judged at Asia level — the right field for a regional business — or a sector programme (World Technology Awards, World Real Estate Excellence Awards, the hospitality programmes) where one exists. The leader: the World CEO Awards, most often in Best International Expansion CEO, Best Growth-Driven CEO or Best Digital Transformation CEO. A woman regional head can add the Golden Women Awards.

Nominate a regional headquarters or its head

Company recognition at Asia level and the World CEO Awards for the regional head — one form, one evidence pack, two juries.

What goes in

  • The regional footprint — markets, entities, headcount, functions run from Hong Kong — with dates.
  • Performance by market — revenue, customers, volumes and growth — indexed if the parent does not disclose regional figures.
  • Decisions taken in Hong Kong — market entries, product launches, regional platforms, partnerships, restructurings — and their outcomes.
  • Customer and quality evidence for the region — NPS, satisfaction, certifications held by the Hong Kong entity, regulatory approvals.
  • People — the regional leadership pipeline, local hiring and development, diversity results.
  • Contribution — chambers, industry bodies, government advisory work, ecosystem roles in Hong Kong and the region.

What stays with the parent

Global revenue, global brand rankings, group awards and the group chief executive's strategy are context, not evidence. One sentence to explain the regional mandate, then the regional record. A regional business that added markets, launched a regional product and built a Hong Kong-based leadership team has a complete story without the parent's numbers.

Confidential figures

Most multinationals do not publish regional results. The programmes accept indexed series (year one = 100) and percentage changes over a defined period, and Hong Kong regional headquarters use them routinely. State the period and the measure. Internal approval for indexed disclosure is usually simple; ask early — see how it works.

Who submits

The regional head, their team, the communications function or the parent may submit; all are judged alike. In practice the regional communications or HR team assembles the pack and the regional head signs it off. The official form asks for the nominee's details and a package; the awards team completes the profile with the nominated contact.
