Travel & Tourism Awards in Hong Kong

Tourism came back to Hong Kong in stages — day-trippers and mainland visitors first, then regional leisure, then long-haul and MICE — and the industry that serves it is rebuilt around the Greater Bay Area: licensed agencies running high-speed-rail and bridge itineraries into Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Macau; inbound operators packaging the Peak, the harbour, Lantau and the trails; attraction operators at Ocean Park, Disneyland, the Peak and the museums of West Kowloon; cruise agents at Kai Tak; event and incentive organisers at the convention centre and AsiaWorld-Expo; and online travel companies headquartered in the city for the region.

The International Travel Awards' 75 travel and tourism categories cover agencies, operators, DMCs, online travel, attractions and destinations. Founders and chief executives are recognised through the Golden Entrepreneur, World CEO and Asia Best of Best programmes.

What the jury will ask a Hong Kong travel business

How is the business growing? Passengers, bookings or revenue over a defined period, indexed if needed. Are customers coming back? Satisfaction, reviews, repeat and referral rates. What have you built? Greater Bay Area itineraries, cruise-and-stay products, incentive programmes, digital booking — with launch dates. Who do you work with, and to what effect? Airlines, attractions, hotels, the Tourism Board — described by outcome. Are you licensed and safe? Travel Industry Authority licence, safety practices, sustainability. Recovery since 2023 is a story to tell with numbers.
